The picturesque town of Tryavna is situated on the northern slopes of the Central Balkan Mountains, in the valley of the Tryavna River. It is situated 440 m above the sea level and is built upon a hilly area with a nice view around.
In the heart of the town, right next to the Old Bridge, you can find the authentic Stela House from the early 19th century which offers 3 self-contained holiday rooms. The house is an integral part of the ensemble of monuments in the town’s architectural reserve. The spell of this place which has preserved the Bulgarian spirit is enriched by the neighboring Clock Tower and the coolness of the Tryavna River. If, in the early evenings, you go out to the “cherdak” (an old wooden and covered terrace) with a cool drink in hand, you will feel the delicate ripple of the river and enjoy the charming panorama. Unique museums like the Daskalov’s House, the Old School, Petko and Pentcho Museum-house are very close to the Stella house. You can also buy different souvenirs from the various shops and workshops. Pleasantly exhausted after the sightseeing tour, you can relax in the nearby restaurants, taverns and cafes. Stela house offers 3 self-contained holiday rooms.
